Nominate The Duhks for a Planet Defender Award!

Rock the Earth is thrilled to announce a call for nominations for their fourth annual Planet Defender Awards.

On Earth Day - April 22, 2009 – the organization will recognize three artists, individuals or groups working to protect some of our nation's most precious natural areas.

Previous winners include musical artists Jack Johnson, the Barenaked Ladies, and 2008-winner Dave Matthews Band.

Rock the Earth will be accepting nominations from its friends and members between now and March 2nd. Nominees should demonstrate a strong commitment to defending the planet within the realm in which they work.
